We have designed this section to help all of our viewers obtain a better understanding of our pages as well as how to utilize all of our valuable resources. The above bar, which will be located on every page of Computer Hope, allows users to quickly get to the main pages of Computer Hope.
- Home - Will link the user directly to the main page of Computer Hope.
- Free Help - Will link the user to the main help section of Computer Hope.
- Contact - Links the user to ways of contacting Computer Hope and other companies.
- Links - Will link the user to the search section of Computer Hope.
- Products - Links the user to the products section of Computer Hope.
- Dictionary - Quickly access the main dictionary section.
- Forums - Quick link to access the Computer Hope forums.
Navigating using the left bar The image to the left is an example of the left navigation bar. This bar will contain the "search section" on every page of Computer Hope, allowing users to quickly and easily search for information they may be looking for. Below the search, users will also have access to the commonly visited sections of our site, enabling users to get where they need to go even faster. On the majority of the pages users will also have links to e-mail a page to a friend, get access to a print preview, and even edit the page, allowing a user to suggest additional information.
Navigating using the right bar
 | The image to the left is an example of index section of the right navigation bar. This bar is located on the majority of Computer Hope's web pages and has three sections. The first is the section "category", which links you back to the page that the current page is based on. Next is the "Companies" section, which will linking you to a company information page in case you need additional information about that company or need to contact it. Finally, the "Related Pages" section will link you to any page that is related to the current page you are on. |
 | The next section of the right navigation bar will either be "Drivers", "Updates", or will not be listed. If you are reading about a particular hardware product, this section will have a link to a drivers section, if it is available. However, if you are on a software page, the "Updates" section will be listed, which allows you to link to any updates that may be available for the product you are currently reading about. Finally, if you are not reading about either hardware or software, this section will not be listed because it is not needed. |
 | Finally, the resolved section allows the user to give feedback to Computer Hope. If the user was able to locate the answer to their question, the user can click yes and let Computer Hope know that they were able to resolve their computer question, which greatly helps Computer Hope. However, if they were unable to locate the answer, clicking "No" will take them to another section that may be able to link them to where they may need to go and/or allow you to send an e-mail to Computer Hope's Technical Support department. |
